What does this day tour cover?
Most of our guests stay in Pushkar, so the day usually begins with the morning drive to Ajmer while the roads are still quiet. First stop is the Ajmer Sharif Dargah — the part of the day people remember longest — where your guide manages the lane, the queue and the etiquette so you can simply take it in. From there it's a short hop to Ana Sagar Lake for a slower half hour: open water, marble pavilions on the bank, and a chance to sit down after the intensity of the shrine.
We pause for lunch (TODO-VERIFY: arrangements — see the FAQs), then drive back over the hills to Pushkar for the afternoon: darshan at the Brahma Temple, a walk along the lake ghats, and time in Sadar Bazaar before drop-off. If your timing allows, we can end at the lake for the evening aarti.

The Dargah is the shrine of the Sufi saint Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti, and it draws pilgrims of every faith — this is a living place of prayer, not a monument. The etiquette is simple: cover your head (a scarf or cap is fine), dress modestly, leave shoes before the inner courtyard, keep your voice low and move with the flow of the queue. What happens on the Pushkar side?
Back in Pushkar the mood changes completely — from Sufi shrine to Hindu pilgrimage town in one drive. We take you for darshan at the Brahma Temple, one of the world's very few temples dedicated to Brahma, then down through the old town to the ghats around the holy lake. Shoes come off near the water, and we'll show you where photography is welcome and where it isn't. The day winds down in Sadar Bazaar — silver, textiles, rose products — with your guide steering you past the tourist-priced stalls.
How do we travel between Ajmer and Pushkar?
A private vehicle (TODO-VERIFY: type and whether AC) carries you door to door for the whole day — the drive between the towns crosses the hills that separate them and takes about TODO-VERIFY minutes each way.
